Hello and welcome back to this week's Plog. In the next four weeks I will look at what the PMI calls the '9 Project Management Knowledge Areas'. This material can be found in great detail in the PMI's PMBOK ('Project Management Body of Knowledge') which is the prinicpal volume of knowledge by which all Project Manager's with a PMP designation (and other related certifications given by the PMI) subscribe to.

In the PMBOK, should you decide to read it - and I hope you do if you plan on becoming a Project Manager and/or to write the PMI exam - there is a large volume of information with regard to these knowledge areas. And because of this fact along with how the material is presented within the PMBOK, this forum is not the right vehicle to discuss this material in the way it was intended to be read.
